Zips, elastic and fastener repairs are all offered at Splendid Stitches, and our vintage division stocks a wide range of deadstock original vintage zips for seamless replacement in vintage garments.

Our elastic works include replacement of waistband elastic, elastic on cuffs and necklines, and re-bounce shirring elasticated panels.

We have an extensive assortment of hooks and eyes, snap fasteners and other hardware to replace or improve closures. We also offer services to close gaping areas of blouses and shirts.

Kindly note, zip repairs are only available for vintage items (pre-1980s) and in our brands division for our partner brands. We do not undertake zip replacements for any contemporary brands we do not have a partnership arrangement with.
