$Deborah\'s 1920s dress was in great condition apart from the button closure$

BEFORE: A button was lost, one was broken and the loops were torn and too small

BEFORE: We needed to remove a button and space out the loops

AFTER: the buttons are aligned and loops mended

The waistband of this vintage skirt had ripped and needed reinforcement

We added a patch of strong bias binding to mend the tear

The thread holding the zip in place had unravelled

We re-attached the zip on this gown

This vintage petticoat suffered from a snapped elastic band

We replaced the snapped elastic and secured it under the label at the back

Gorgeous vintage Pucci mini-dress in need of a small but important repair

The couture covered snap-fasteners had come loose and the silk frayed

We re-attached each button carefully by hand

$Pat\'s vintage cotton jacket had seen much wear and needed a simple repair$

The collar on the jacket was frayed and needed patching

We took a patch from the lining to reinforce and repair the collar

This vintage Horrockses dress had been poorly altered in the past

The bust panel needed restoring to its original shape and straps repairing

We unpicked and realigned the original panel on the Horrockses dress

After repairs both bust and straps are true to the original design

$Rachael\'s cape needed larger buttons and repairs to the loops$

We replaced all the buttons and stitched the broken loops in place

Early 1960s vintage satin dress had a hole at the side

We used a matching patch from the inside hem to carefully cover the tear
